Delivery & returns

This policy applies to goods purchased online from Cashinadash. Buyback and Sell4Me agreements have their own terms.

We are not VAT registered. Prices shown are the amounts payable; no VAT is added.

Collection and delivery

Collection from the Lancaster shop is free. Wait for your collection confirmation before travelling.

Delivery is offered to England, Wales and Scotland for eligible items. Each listing has a delivery band. If you buy several items together, we charge the highest band once for the order. Collection-only items cannot be included in a delivery order.

Orders paid before 2pm UK time are dispatched the same working day, Monday–Friday excluding bank holidays. Orders paid at or after 2pm, at weekends or on bank holidays are dispatched the next working day. UK time follows GMT or BST as applicable. Delivery is estimated at 3–5 working days from ordering. Remote Scottish addresses may take longer; we will show a longer estimate where needed before purchase. These are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates. The complete price and delivery charge are shown before payment. We will provide an order confirmation you can save. If delivery is delayed, contact us for help.

Changing your mind about an online purchase

You can cancel an online purchase of goods without giving a reason. Tell us within 14 days after the day you receive the goods. Then send or bring them back within a further 14 days. This also applies where you conclude the purchase online and collect it in store.

Email lancaster@cashinadash.co.uk or write to Cashinadash, 28–30 North Road, Lancaster, LA1 1NY, stating clearly that you wish to cancel. Include your name, order reference and the items concerned. The form below is optional; any clear cancellation statement is sufficient.

You pay the direct cost of returning a change-of-mind purchase. We cover reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. If an item cannot normally be returned by post, its estimated return cost will be shown before purchase.

You may inspect and handle an item as you would in a shop. A deduction may apply for loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to check its nature, characteristics and functioning, where the required cancellation information was supplied. We do not charge a cancellation or restocking fee.

Refunds

For an eligible cancellation, we refund the item price and the standard outbound delivery charge when the whole order is cancelled. An upgrade above standard delivery is not refundable. For a partial-order cancellation, any delivery refund depends on the remaining order and your rights.

We refund without undue delay, no later than 14 days after receiving the goods back or, if earlier, your evidence of sending them back. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee.

Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

Contact us with your order reference and a description of the problem. Your consumer rights also apply to second-hand goods, taking account of their age, price and disclosed condition. Where goods fail to meet the legal standards, a short-term right to reject normally lasts 30 days; repair, replacement and other remedies may apply afterwards. We bear reasonable return costs where the law requires us to do so. A warranty, if offered separately, does not replace your statutory rights.

Do not post a damaged battery or another unsafe item. Contact us first so we can arrange an appropriate return method. This does not remove your rights or delay the date you notify us of cancellation.
